Co-Develop

Your idea. Our dial. Built together.

supfit Co-Develop is for independent designers, startups and small businesses with a fresh idea for rotary closures. We bring the engineering, prototyping and manufacturing. You bring the vision.

For independents and small teams, including people outside supfit’s home market. Not a consumer store. The directions further down are examples, not products we already make.

Who it’s for

Four kinds of project.

Independent designers

Product designers and industrial design studios with a closure idea and a sketch.

Startups and small brands

Early companies, including crowdfunding projects, that need engineering and a factory behind the idea.

Small manufacturers

Teams who already make a product and want a rotary closure added to it.

Schools and maker teams

Studios, labs and student teams. Each project is reviewed on its own.

What supfit brings

What we do on a project.

CapabilityWhat we doUnpublished
Engineering We review whether the idea can work, choose the dial, lace and guide path, and design the mechanics. [PLACEHOLDER: engineering team size]
Rapid prototypes Printed or bench-made models, then a sample that opens, closes and holds. [PLACEHOLDER: prototype lead time]
Tooling A dedicated tool, or an existing platform reused so the first version costs less. [PLACEHOLDER: tooling lead time and cost range]
Testing Life, tension and environment checks on the closure. Results belong to the project. [PLACEHOLDER: tests we can run]
Short runs A smaller first batch so an early product can ship before a large order makes sense. [PLACEHOLDER: short-run minimum]
Production Scaled manufacturing, inspection and export packing when the product is ready. [PLACEHOLDER: production lead time]

Process

From a sketch to a first run.

  1. 01

    Submit

Fill in the form and upload a sketch. If you need it, we sign an NDA before you send confidential detail.

  2. 02

    Review

Engineering reviews feasibility and replies within [PLACEHOLDER: reply window].

  3. 03

    Scope

We send a construction proposal, a way of working together, a cost and a timeline.

  4. 04

    Prototype

We build a functional sample. You test it. We revise it.

  5. 05

    Tooling & test

Tools are cut, then reliability tests are run.

  6. 06

    Launch

A short run first, then volume when you ask for it.

Directions, not a catalog

Directions, not a product list.

These are examples of where a rotary closure might go. supfit does not claim to already make any of them.

Bags

One-turn tightening for shoulder straps and packing cubes.

Braces

Zone-by-zone adjustment for knee, wrist and ankle supports.

Helmets

Head-circumference adjustment. Certification stays with the helmet maker.

Pet gear

One-hand adjustment for harnesses and leads.

Medical supports

Fit adjustment for braces. Medical-device rules are a separate track, and we will say so in review.

Sports equipment

Retention straps for boards, bikes and training gear.

Apparel

Adjustment at cuffs, waists and brims.

Questions

Will my idea be protected?
You can sign an NDA before we look at confidential detail. Only people assigned to the project should see your files. At the concept stage, send a non-confidential summary — the form asks for that, and nothing more.
Who owns the IP?
Design patents on the dials are filed under 浠珀适(深圳)科技有限公司. The utility-model patent is under 东莞市金胜模具塑胶有限公司 (Jinsheng Molding). Patent numbers are not published here. Anything new that a co-development creates is a contract question. This page is not legal advice.
What does it cost, and what is the minimum?
Not published. No fee, minimum, or royalty is stated on this site.
How long does it take?
Not published. Day counts from older sales sheets are not used here.
Do you sell to end consumers?
No. The product launches under your brand. supfit handles engineering and manufacturing. This website does not sell finished goods.

Submit

Tell us the idea. Not the secret.

At the summary stage, do not include confidential information. Exchange drawings after an NDA is signed. NDA and co-development agreements still need a lawyer — background IP, new IP, exclusivity and territory are contract terms, not website copy.

Helmets and medical products can require their own certifications. We will flag that in review. This note is not legal advice. We keep the time of each submission so later disputes about who showed what are easier to untangle.
